Custom Copper Frame Forest Fire Burnt

Custom Copper Frame Forest Fire Burnt : These copper frames are  custom crafted in forest fire burnt. This color is achieved by a heat treatment that Jim has developed, to bring out the rich colors of the copper, reds,orange, black and browns.   It’s fun to watch the beautiful colors develop , no two are  alike. These frames are crafted using the same 51 oz copper material that is used in all of our copper work. The corners are welded with rope welds and enhanced with two hammered copper rivets. Each frame is hand hammered for texture. The larger of the frames is 44″ x 30″ with a 2 3/4″ frame  -the smaller 20″ x  31″ with a 2 3/4″ frame. We find that most of our clients prefer to have the glass installed at a local glass shop as to prevent damage in shipping. We provide backing and hangers with each frame.

The edges of this copper counter top are beveled to add a softer yet bold  look.  Jim uses a firing technique to create the  spicy antique copper tone. West Fork Custom Copper Range Hood

West Fork Custom Copper Range Hood :  Always looking for a challenge Jim designed and created this amazing range hood. It is set in a rock arch  that has rock on both sides and the back. The thought is that it was used at one time for a wood cook stove.  The arched top of this hood conforms with the arch in the rock while the side of the hood is extended out to accommodate the rock walls. The back splash is all one piece with the hood.  All hand hammered and fired to a spicy rich antique copper. The single band of  hammered blackened steel bar with copper rivets adds just the right amount of accent.  This range hood fits perfect in this farm house. Let us create your perfect match! This is the response from one of our clients.   This copper range hood is hand hammered copper with blackened steel bands offset with copper rivets. The hood body is heavy hammered while the blacked hammered steel bar is set off with copper hammered rivets. The crown of this hood also has the blackened steel bar with copper rivets.

The community was so named because a rancher there branded his cattle with the image of a circle. Most often large ranched were known not for the name of the rancher but the name of the brand of the livestock.

Zinc Farm Sink Single Basin Hand Hammered : This farm sink is available in both the raw zinc and the blackened as shown below.  Both are hand hammered and custom crafted. This is an under mount sink, it is also crafted in a surface mount.

 The blackened patina used on our zinc is created with a chemical patina. Zinc will not heat treat to obtain color change so a chemical patina is needed. However zinc will naturally change in color as it ages on it’s own. So if you would prefer to let that process happen raw zinc may be your choice. Zinc is a metal with a number of characteristics that make it an ideal choice for use in residential  kitchens or commercial restaurants.   Additionally, zinc is nonporous, anti-microbial and antibacterial. The double basins give her the work space she needs for prepping meals. While the drain board allows her extra space for draining dishes or produce. This drain board also allows extra space as a counter top. Now the farm front is just for fun!  She chose the surface mount for her home. It is also available in an under mount.

Slanted Farm Front Kitchen Copper Sink: This kitchen sink is shown in an under mount but is also available in a surface mount. Each of our under mount sinks are crafted with the outside flange flat. This allows  the sinks to be installed easily without gaps or creases. The surface mounts are all created with a heavy cast bevel edge. Reveling  more of the rich copper.   Having a single basin this has the look of the classic farm front. But with the distinction of the farm front on this sink slanted. You will also notice that the inside edges of  the sinks that Jim creates are all radius. Not squared off or stamped out.  Our sinks are proudly made in the USA not imported or mass produced. Notice the attention to detail with  the vertical steel bar which flows under the horizontal steel bar. Not butted  up against the bar. Allowing a completely finished look. Custom Made Copper Frames–The best compliments come from our clients! The mirror glass in these custom made copper frames were installed at a local glass shop for our client. These copper frames were crafted using 51 oz copper material and welded rope seams.  The color tones in these frames are forest fire burnt.

Hi Pam! I finally was able to hang the 2 copper frames mirrors over Thanksgiving in Arizona and they look great!! Please tell Jim Thank You and they came out perfectly! The color variations are wonderful and change throughout the day with the different lighting in the room. Here are some pictures of the custom made copper frames and please feel free to use them in any way you would like.
