Zinc Island Range Hood Winston : This Island hood was crafted for one of our favorite clients. She lives in the small town of Winston Montana.  So what is a more fitting name for this hood than Winston! This hood is as rustic as the area around it. The body of this hood is hand hammered with a light patina. Giving an aged look to the hood. The  blackened and hammered steel bar creates a contrast to the zinc body. Attention to detail is a sign of a quality craftsman this is definitely evident in this piece. The blackened bar is enhanced with blackened steel rivets. The vertical bar has a continuous flow  over the horizontal bar. Copper Range Hood Holland : This hood has a similar design as the Zinc Range Hood also called the Holland. With a smooth copper body, fired to an antique copper this gives the hood a sleek soft satin look. A contrast to the hand hammered horizontal bar and  vertical bar which is crafted using blackened steel bar. Enhanced with hammered copper rivets. You will  notice the horizontal bar on the copper hood extends to the sides this is so it will fit tight to the cabinets that only reaching out part way. The  hood also has a small ledge at the top of the base creating a stop for the vertical bar. Attention to detail is important to us at Mountain Copper Creations. Copper Wall Mount Range Hood Helena : This is a great little hood,  36″ wide x 24″ deep and 30″ tall.  Hand crafted using 51 oz copper material with welded construction. Enhanced with Copper bar and copper rivets. The hood body is heavy hammered while the bar is needled hammered at the base and crown. The contrast in the hammering adds dimension to this hood. All fired to a spicy antique copper. Truly functional copper artistry at it’s best. This hood is also available in zinc with blackened steel bar and rivets. Zinc Range Hood Smokey :  Montana has experienced one of the worst fire season in several years. As Jim was creating this range hood the color of the light patina reminded me of the smokey skies over Montana. So there ya go Smokey! This hood is a wall mount. Crafted using .060 zinc material. With welded construction. Heavy hammered body and crown with a slight patina. Two distressed blacked steel bars with steel rivets also blackened adorn the base.  A Smaller range hood with plenty of class and function.                                                                               Measurements : 36″ x 21 ” 34″

Custom Copper Range Hood Mountain View :  Due to the larger size of this range hood we decided Mountain View was the only name that fit it’s massive size. This copper range hood is hand crafted using 51 oz copper material and welded construction. The body of this hood is heavy hammered with a heavy hammered crown. Two horizontal blackened steel bar with copper rivets embellish the base. While the crown of the hood has a single blackened steel bar with copper rivets.  Two vertical blackened steel bars with  copper rivets enhance the front of the range hood. This range hood is 68″ x 82: x 24″

Mountain Copper Creations crafted this  Copper Water Fountain  Calla Lilies for our client who wanted something classy and custom. Not the usual water fountain. After visiting with him we discovered that his wife had chosen the Calla  Lily for her wedding flower.  So Jim took this into consideration when he created this Copper Water Fountain Calla Lilies. The water drips from the center Calla Lily and collects into the hand hammered copper basin  which then overflows gently into the water catcher below.  This Copper water Fountain Calla Lilies added the perfect touch to their newly remodeled deck giving the space to enjoy the out side as well as the inside of their home. Miller Creek Copper Range Hood : was named after the beautiful area close to Missoula, Montana where our clients reside. Jim created the design of this copper range hood by working closely with the owners, they were looking for an update in their kitchen. Wanting to replace their brick hood with a rustic copper range hood, they also needed an upgraded  sink. So of course they went with a custom farm front copper  sink and a copper range  hood. They chose a surface mount double basin farm sink to pair with this beautiful handcrafted copper range hood built to order. Hand hammered copper bar and rivets bring out the rustic appeal to this hand crafted  copper artwork. The bottom inlay is needle hammered on all five panels. If you are looking for a classic design take away the copper bar and rivets and let the hand hammered copper speak for itself. Remodeling or under new construction functional copper artistry will add warmth an beauty to your home!

This custom copper range hood the Miller Creek was so fun to create with our clients that I just had to show the finished kitchen.  This kitchen was a remodel and the end result is amazing.  They kept the existing counter-tops and cabinets. From there they add a Mountain Copper Creations farm front double basin surface copper sink and the copper range hood, added some back splash and the kitchen was new again. This is another beautiful Copper Island Range Hood that was built to order for our clients in Florence Montana.Which is where the name  “Florence”  originated. They were in the middle of a remodel when we were contacted. Jim worked  closely with the builder and the homeowner  to handcraft this beautiful design for their Copper Range Hood.The room was rather large so this bold hood does not overpower.
