Zinc Farm Sink Single Basin Hand Hammered : This farm sink is available in both the raw zinc and the blackened as shown below.  Both are hand hammered and custom crafted. This is an under mount sink, it is also crafted in a surface mount.

 The blackened patina used on our zinc is created with a chemical patina. Zinc will not heat treat to obtain color change so a chemical patina is needed. However zinc will naturally change in color as it ages on it’s own. So if you would prefer to let that process happen raw zinc may be your choice. Zinc is a metal with a number of characteristics that make it an ideal choice for use in residential  kitchens or commercial restaurants.   Additionally, zinc is nonporous, anti-microbial and antibacterial. The box crown is also heavy hand hammered with a needle hammered inlay with rivets.  Adding a touch of patina or antiquing ,softens the look of  the zinc material to a inviting warmth.  The body of this hood is heavy hammered and fired to a rich darker antique copper. The blackened steel bar is also hammered and distressed. While adding to the rustic look. This zinc range hood is crafted using raw zinc which is hand hammered. The blackened steel bar is distressed by hand hammering, including the steel rivets. Which are also distressed and blackened. Notice the attention to detail with  the vertical steel bar which flows under the horizontal steel bar. Not butted  up against the bar. Allowing a completely finished look. You may notice  the corner steel brackets which also add to the rustic look. This zinc range hood was designed for our client. While looking for something that was both elegant and rustic. Branded Copper Range Hood: This copper range hood is in the design of the Mount Jumbo the forest fire burnt front panel is reverse hand hammered the body of the Branded Copper Range Hood is hand hammered and fired to a medium antique copper with copper rivets. Miller Creek Copper Range Hood : was named after the beautiful area close to Missoula, Montana where our clients reside. Jim created the design of this copper range hood by working closely with the owners, they were looking for an update in their kitchen. Wanting to replace their brick hood with a rustic copper range hood, they also needed an upgraded  sink. So of course they went with a custom farm front copper  sink and a copper range  hood. They chose a surface mount double basin farm sink to pair with this beautiful handcrafted copper range hood built to order. Hand hammered copper bar and rivets bring out the rustic appeal to this hand crafted  copper artwork. The bottom inlay is needle hammered on all five panels. If you are looking for a classic design take away the copper bar and rivets and let the hand hammered copper speak for itself. Remodeling or under new construction functional copper artistry will add warmth an beauty to your home!

This custom copper range hood the Miller Creek was so fun to create with our clients that I just had to show the finished kitchen.  This kitchen was a remodel and the end result is amazing.  They kept the existing counter-tops and cabinets. From there they add a Mountain Copper Creations farm front double basin surface copper sink and the copper range hood, added some back splash and the kitchen was new again. New build or remodel Mountain Copper Creations is able to handcraft your custom copper art.

Rustic Copper Bar Top :This is a great addition to our collection and your bar or game room. Hand crafted, Rustic Copper Bar top with hand hammered copper rivets along the needle hammered edge. Fired in a rich spicy antique copper. The work area of the bar has an integrated dry sink easily converted to a wet bar. Crafted using 51 oz copper material and welded construction. The base of this bar was crafted by a local Montana Artist Mike Roths of  Bear Paw Designs. The copper was created by our own copper smith Jim Clapham.
