Custom Copper Frame Forest Fire Burnt : These copper frames are custom crafted in forest fire burnt. This color is achieved by a heat treatment that Jim has developed, to bring out the rich colors of the copper, reds,orange, black and browns. It’s fun to watch the beautiful colors develop , no two are alike. These frames are crafted using the same 51 oz copper material that is used in all of our copper work. The corners are welded with rope welds and enhanced with two hammered copper rivets. Each frame is hand hammered for texture. The larger of the frames is 44″ x 30″ with a 2 3/4″ frame -the smaller 20″ x 31″ with a 2 3/4″ frame. We find that most of our clients prefer to have the glass installed at a local glass shop as to prevent damage in shipping. We provide backing and hangers with each frame.
